Štrbské pleso is one of the most visited places in the High Tatras. It is the highest situated Tatra settlement, so its starting point for many hiking trails.
The lake is the second largest lake in the High Tatras. It s uniqueness is the fact that only here you can enjoy an experience with more than 130 years of tradition.
In summer months there is very popular activity – boating on Strbske pleso surface.
This unique is also a candidate applied for the title “Seventh Wonder of the World”. Very traditional and beautiful is a walk along the promenade around the lake. For this walk you don’t even need professional hiking shoes. You will meet there runners, moms and dads with strollers, pupils on a school trip, or local people who still enjoy the magic of this place.
